Day 72: Prague, Czech Republic

Day 72: October 2nd

We spent all day exploring Prague Castle. It was across the river from our hotel and all the way up the hill so we got a ton of exercise that day.:) We made it just in time to see the change of guards at noon…they do it every hour but the one at noon is the extended version.

The Castle complex is the the largest in the world. St.Vitus cathedral is beautiful. We haven’t seen such beautiful stained glass in any if the churches we have visited so far. The view from the castle grounds itself is worth the walk up the hill. The panoramic views of the city are stunning.
Enjoy the many pics below!

We spent the evening with the two couples we met two nights ago. They were very kind in inviting us to dinner with them. We had a wonderful time.

Tomorrow, we are on our way to Berlin.
